Jason P. Jones Head Coach/ Director of Sports

 

He was born and raised in Oakland CA, graduated from Castlemont SR High School 1992 where he played 4years of Football and competed in Track & Field.

He moved to McDonough, GA wherehe became a Juvenile Correctional Officer for 2 ½ years, then moved on to Atlanta Police Dept. for 1 ½ year. He moved back to California where he started working with Twin Rivers Unified School District as a Public Safety Officer and now a Community Liaison and Head of the Watch D.O.G.S  Dads Of Great Students.

Neil Harms Head Coach: Wrestling

 

High School: He played four years of football, wrestling, and baseball.

 

College: After high school, he played two years of baseball as a catcher for Butte Junior College. The team went to the California JC baseball championships both years. During his JC years, he played baseball during the summer with the semi-professional Chico Colts.

 

In 1984 graduated from CSU Chico with a degree in Liberal Studies.

In 1985 he did a year of student teaching, and was hired as a teacher by the Rio Linda Union School District.

 

He has taught a total of 29 years in the Rio Linda District and Twin Rivers Unified School District.

 

He has been a successful youth soccer coach, and Little League and American Legion baseball coach, and assistant freshman and junior varsity baseball coach at Del Campo High School.

 

He has taught junior high PE for two years at F.C. Joyce, and in 2013/14 he started a wrestling team. There are 10 wrestlers on the team and they compete in wrestling tournaments on the weekends and have been very successful during their initial season.
